This wonderful bottle was made in Great Britain for a Company in Scotland and because it has the infamous words embossed on it "Federal Law Forbids the sale or reuse of this bottle" We can date it to the 1930-1950's and we know that it was Wiskey or Scotch (my thinking) that was to be exported to America. The bottom has the Company name that made it but part of the wording is obscured. It reads" Robert _________ & Co. Ltd. Scotland" and near the bottom of the bottle it reads "Bottle made in Great Britain" and "No. 9273". The shape is rather unusual and very attractive. The glass has a slight green tint to it. The bottle stands 7 1/2" tall and is 4" at its widest part. This work make a great addition to a bottle collection or a great gift. The glass is thick and heavy. The bottle is in very fine condition. Please see photo as it is part of the description.
